A Possible Spokesman for Generic Cialis
In the autumn of 2003, Aziz Rowhani spent part of one afternoon visiting a shop that sold second hand books. Aziz wanted to buy something that would help him to get his mind off work.
Aziz worked in the marketing department of the company that sold Generic Cialis. The head of that department had just challenged all the men under him to search for a possible spokesman. He felt that the company’s ED pills needed endorsement by a well-known figure.
Most of the books in the store were either mysteries or romances. Aziz was not keen on either of those genres. Finally Aziz found an autobiography. It had been written by Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York City.
Aziz purchased the book and took it home, eager to do some leisure reading. Aziz took the book with him when he went out to the hammock. For a number of chapters Aziz did in fact forget all about the sales figures for Generic Cialis and its rival product, Generic Viagra.
Then Aziz read this comment, a comment made by the author. He claimed that at one point, while traveling around the country, he had had “a girlfriend in every city.” When Aziz read that he looked around for a leaf, and he used that leaf to mark that page.
Later, when Aziz went inside he replaced that leaf with a piece of paper. Then Aziz put his book in his briefcase. On Monday morning, Aziz took that book to the office. He planned to show it to his boss.
Aziz waited for the head of the marketing department to call him into his new corner office. Aziz knew that he usually got a call from his boss on Mondays. Sure enough, the boss’ secretary soon called and asked Aziz to stop by the office.
Aziz wanted to impress his boss with his quick response to the man’s challenge. The men in the marketing department had been asked to come up with a spokesman for Generic Cialis. Aziz thought that Michael Bloomberg might be a possible spokesman. Aziz wanted to show his boss the comment he had found in the man’s autobiography.
Aziz had checked to see when that book had been published. It had first come out in 1997. Aziz wondered how many other marketers of ED pills had read the same book. Aziz was worried that maybe someone who sold Generic Viagra had read the book the Bloomberg autobiography.
Aziz soon learned that his own boss had already read the same book. His boss, however, also knew some added facts about Michael Bloomberg. He knew that Bloomberg has once been named in a lawsuit.
“Aziz,” said the department head. “I commend your rapid response to my request for suggestions. Unfortunately, I hesitate to use this gentleman. He has made some very racy comments. I would not be surprised to learn that he has already heard from the makers of Generic Viagra.”
Aziz was glad to hear that the book he had chosen for his leisure reading could remain a source of information with no bearing on the marketing of ED pills.
