The New Start
Sue and Peter had been married for 25 years. At first, it was wonderful, full of romance and ardour and lots of fun trips on holiday, sharing experiences and talking until the sun came up. And, Peter had to be honest; they had had a fantastic sex life, packed with fantasy and exhilaration: there was never a dull moment. Then kids had come, one after the other until they had four beautiful children, filling the house with laughter and delight. They had worked like dogs and been exhausted all the time and companionship and family life had taken over from lust and passion.
Until recently, it had not even been a problem, there was always something to worry about or discuss - their eldest boy getting into trouble or their daughter taking up with the wrong man. They had been busy for years.
This last month, however, things had changed, the last child had gone off to college, and at last the house was devoid of other people - no friends popping by and demanding food, taking over the TV and making too much noise.
The house was quiet, too quiet, and Peter and Sue found they had little to say to one another. He was concerned that their marriage would crumble as had so many of their friends'.
The worst was that he had been suffering prostate trouble of late and instead of taking advantage of the peace to pick up their romantic life, he had been unable to make love to his wife. He felt unmanned and worried. Of course, she didn't complain but he knew that a good marriage takes work and was determined not to let things slide.
A chance joke by one of his son's friends had triggered a thought. The joke had been how they might need Generic Viagra to get a spark back into their lives. He was just kidding around, teasing them about their age, but, Peter thought it was worth a try. He was too embarrassed to talk to his doctor so he settled down with a glass of fine wine and the Internet and set about ordering some Generic Viagra from a website that offered both this and Generic Cialis. He couldn't believe that it was possible to buy such amazing drugs on the web, but was thankful for the opportunity to once again sweep his wife off her feet.
While he was there, he bought her a new ring, a beautiful dress and some flowers and booked a hotel by the sea.
She was delighted when he proposed a weekend away and rushed off to pack.
They arrived at the coast on a bright sunny day and Peter told Sue to dress up as he had a surprise. She followed him down the road and, to her surprise he entered a church. Inside the priest welcomed her and began a ceremony to renew their wedding vows, Sue was so moved that she cried and hugged Peter - this was just the gesture that would save their marriage. His plan was so romantic, she loved her beautiful new ring and the stunning flowers overwhelmed her.
The next amazing surprise was when Peter whispered in her ear that the wedding night was to be in the same hotel as they had used on their honeymoon, in the same suite... and then he suggestively kissed her ear and said that he would be treating her to the same voracious lovemaking as on that wonderful night 25 years ago. She trembled with desire and they made a dash for the honeymoon suite, forgetting all about the wedding breakfast! This was a new start to remember!
